TERRITORIES OF LATINIDAD

The panel will bring together the curatorial team to present the theme of this edition of CineBH, Territories of Latinity. In its second edition focusing on Latin America and in the first year of its competitive showcase, the 17th CineBH emphasizes geographical, political, historical, cultural and cinematic issues in its theme. Territories of Latinity is not just about the films in the Territory competitive showcase. It also refers to the strategies of disputes over land ownership and the construction of symbolic and identity territories in the historical trajectory of Latin American cinema and Latin America.
