CLEARANCE OF AUDIOVISUAL WORKS

This panel provides an introduction to the clearance of audiovisual works, a process that involves analyzing risks and releasing the use of third-party rights in audiovisual works. The panel aims to present an overview of copyright and personality rights usually involved in the production of audiovisual works, with their fundamental concepts and most common challenges. After a brief presentation of the main concepts, the panel will answer questions from those present, focusing on the practical application of such concepts and guidance on legal limits and good practices in the use of protected works.
