In its annual editions, Brasil CineMundi signs cooperation agreements with international institutions, funds and programmes to establish partnerships and exchanges, ensuring the participation of Brazilian producers and projects in international market events, as well as offering awards to the selected projects.
BURNING (Colombia)
It is an artistic and production studio created with the aim of developing, accompanying and producing films and art pieces that take formal and conceptual risks, in which derivation is possible.
CONECTA (Chile)
It is an international meeting of the documentary industry, aimed at Latin American producers and filmmakers with documentary projects in development, editing, post-production or completed. National and international industry agents participate in this meeting, including representatives of funds, markets and festivals, distributors, sales agents, exhibitors, platform and television channel programmers and producers.
DOCSP (Brazil)
An International Documentary Meeting with training & market activities and film screenings. A place to foster reflection on new narratives of the documentary and interactive cinema and build bridges with the market.
EMBASSY OF FRANCE IN BRAZIL (France)
A partner of the event since its 1st edition, it contributes to support the attending of French professionals in the event. These French guests participate in co-production meetings and CineMundi Lab, integrating debates and panels, and providing laboratories and consultancies to selected projects.
FIDBA – International Documentary Film Festival (Argentina)
It is the first International Festival dedicated to Documentary Cinema in Argentina, a place where the cinema of the real, films with the same vocation, dialogue with each other and address the diversity of forms and particular ways of doing things that take reality as their subject matter.
GOETHE INSTITUT (Germany)
A partner that support the attending of German professionals in the event. These German guests participate in co-production meetings and CineMundi Lab, integrating debates and workshops.
MAFF – Málaga Festival Fund & Coproduction Event (Spain)
It is conceived as a place for communication that facilitates dialogue between producers of Ibero-American and European films, as part of a co-production encounter. It is a setting that favors the artistic growth of participating projects, their network of contacts and that increases their possibilities of financing.
NUEVAS MIRADAS (Cuba)
It is a place to stimulate audiovisual projects in development, through consultancies with professors from the EICTV chairs. We promote meetings with guest experts from other training spaces, meetings with international producers, sales agents and financing funds.
PROJETO PARADISO (Brazil)
It is an initiative that offers a wide range of supports for professionals in film and episodic and champions their presence on the global stage. Focused on internationalization, we work through partnerships with well-known institutions, thereby connecting national talent with training and business opportunities around the world.
RIDM – Festival Internacional de Documentários de Montreal (Canada)
A unique program that seeks first and foremost to promote and reflect on the most stimulating and diverse visions of documentary cinema. From works dealing with hot-button issues to daring creations that renew the language of cinema, the RIDM’s selections are aimed at an annual renewal of our relationship with the world and with the documentary as an art form.
VENTANA SUR (Uruguay)
One of the most important market for audiovisual content in Latin America it is a must in the schedule of distributors and buyers from the international industry. Organized by the Marché du Film – Cannes Film Festival, Uruguayan Film and Audiovisual Agency and National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), Ventana Sur brings together all the different players from the audiovisual industry to promote international co-production, financing and distribution of Latin American content.
WORLD CINEMA FUND (Germany)
It is established itself as one of the leading institutions in the field of international film funding for artistic and innovative productions. The goal is to promote high-quality filmmaking in regions with a weak infrastructure for film, while fostering cultural diversity in German cinemas as well as supporting collaboration between German and European producers and partners in WCF regions and countries.
