Brasil CineMundi – International Coproduction Meeting aims to expand the network of contacts and business between Brazilian professionals and representatives of the foreign industry, facilitating connections between Brazilian independent productions and the international market, through productive partnerships and exchange of information and actions. The program also promotes training, cooperation, exchange activities, business rounds and awards, focusing on trends in contemporary cinema and independent production from an authorial and innovative perspective.
In its annual editions, Brasil CineMundi selects feature film projects at different stages of conception. In this edition there are 38 feature film projects, 33 projects in the development or pre-production phase (categories Horizonte, Doc Brasil Meeting, Foco Minas, Paradiso Multiplica) and 5 projects in the work in progress phase. > – first cut, to be presented to an audience of guests representing the global audiovisual industry – producers, sales agents, distributors, specialized tutors, fund representatives and international festival programmers who participate in the event to learn about and do business with these projects , participate in debates, panels, masterclasses, relationship agenda.
