Brazil CineMundi – International Coproduction Meeting is the Brazilian film industry market event held annually since 2010 in Belo Horizonte (MG). Established as an important environment for networking and business, it promotes closer connections between national film production and the audiovisual industry. Each edition brings together dozens of professionals interested in discovering and negotiating with upcoming Brazilian feature-film projects.

The event also offers cooperation and exchange activities, debates, and the CineMundi Lab, which invests in the training and professional development of industry members, discussing experiences, challenges, and opportunities related to the coproduction model in Brazil and abroad.

For the fifth consecutive year, Universo Produção is organizing the itinerant edition Conexão Brasil CineMundi, a program dedicated to strengthening Brazilian cinema through the presentation of work-in-progress films (final cut) and labs for developing projects. The initiative takes place from January 23 to 31 as part of the 29th Tiradentes Film Festival.

Conexão expands training, dissemination, and internationalization efforts, highlighting the diversity and creative potential of national cinematography. In addition to WIP screenings and Labs, the program includes premieres, debates, panels, and networking activities.

This edition features six feature-length films in WIP – final cut stage, screened in closed sessions for national and international audiovisual professionals, followed by individual meetings aimed at increasing the visibility of the works and fostering circulation opportunities. The Project Residency presents 12 developing projects that participate in the Imersão Doc and ProjetoLab laboratories, where they have the opportunity to advance both creative and production aspects.
