Brazilian filmmaker, trained in History and Film, and founding partner of Filmes de Plástico (2009). He has directed feature films, the most recent being Se Eu Fosse Vivo… Vivia (2026), which premiered at the Berlinale. His feature film O Dia que te Conheci (2023) received the Special Jury Prize at the Rio Film Festival and the Best Actress award for Grace Passô, while the documentary Nossa Mãe Era Atriz (2023) won the Audience Award at Tiradentes. His second feature, Temporada (2018), premiered in Locarno and was screened at more than 50 festivals, receiving awards in Brazil and abroad. His first feature, Ela Volta na Quinta (2014), premiered at FID Marseille and was screened at festivals such as IFFR and Bafici, where it won the Special Jury Prize. Among his short films, he stood out with Pouco Mais de um Mês (2013) and Quintal (2015), both selected for the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes. He was honored at the 27th Tiradentes Film Festival (2024).
