A trained journalist, Yas Chiden began her career in the newsrooms of TV Bandeirantes (RS) and TV Cultura. Since 2016, she has worked in the independent audiovisual sector as a producer and curator. Founder of CineClube Invenção, she produced the documentary Anhangabaú, winner of the Best Documentary Kikito at the Gramado Film Festival (2023). She participated in the Locarno Industry Academy (2021) and the Taturana Mobi Impact Cinema Forum (2022). She is currently part of Descoloniza Filmes, a distributor awarded twice with the Human Rights Seal. With extensive experience in social impact campaigns, she aims to expand the circulation of thought-provoking works, prioritizing films directed by women and committed to social transformation.
