Brazilian filmmaker, born and based in Contagem (MG). In 2009, he co-founded the production company Filmes de Plástico alongside André Novais Oliveira, Gabriel Martins, and Thiago Macêdo Correia. The company is behind dozens of films that have been screened and awarded at festivals such as Cannes, Rotterdam, Locarno, Brasília, and Tiradentes. In 2019, he directed his first feature film, No Coração do Mundo, co-directed with Gabriel Martins. The film had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), was screened internationally, and had commercial releases in France and Brazil. In short films, he stood out with Contagem, which won Best Direction in 35 mm at the Brasília Festival (2010), and Quinze, which won Best Film at the Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife (2014) and Best Screenplay at the Vitória Festival. His first solo-directed feature, O Último Episódio, is set to be released later this year, marking a new chapter in his career.
