She is from the Canary Islands and has been living in Berlin since 2020. She has been part of the team at the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival since 2001, playing a key role in consolidating the festival’s identity and current vision. In 2017, she launched Mecas, the International Market dedicated to Almost Finished Films, a program dedicated to professionals and the industry within the festival. She combines directing Mecas with international distribution of auteur films through the Croatian sales agency Split Screen. She participated in the Puentes program by Eave (2021) and has served as a jury member at WIP labs including: Catapulta Ficunam (Mexico City, 2020), PushPlay at Ficx Pro (Gijón, 2018), Fidocs (Santiago de Chile, 2022), and CoCo WIP (Cottbus, 2023). She has been a project mentor at the Novos Cinemas Lab (Galicia, 2024). She is also a photographer and is currently preparing her first film project.
