Founder of Filipino production company Popple Pictures, is an award-winning Filipina producer whose films have premiered at Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Locarno, Toronto, Sundance, and Busan. She has co-produced with Asia, Europe and Latin America. Her recent co-productions include The Garden of Earthly Delights, Movies that Matter, Tale of the Land (Busan Fipresci winner), Autobiography (Venice Fipresci winner), Kun Maupay Man It Panahon (Locarno Youth Jury Award, 40+ festivals), and Aswang (IDFA Fipresci winner, Gawad Urian Best Picture, Oscar-eligible). An advocate of equitable co-production models, Armi shuttles between Spain and Philippines.
