Creative strategist and cultural producer working between Germany, Africa and Brazil. He is driven by a commitment to center and amplify under-represented stories and voices through his work. He has over a decade of experience at the intersection of the arts and creative economy, designing and implementing on and offline platforms dedicated to empowering creative professionals at various stages of their careers. As the Director and founder of Creative Africa Lab (established in 2023), Romeo is dedicated to strengthening the African film industry. Since 2024, he has partnered with organizations such as RIDM (Canada), and Rough-CUT LAB Africa (South Africa) to create on and offline mini labs focused on film project development, production, audience design and distribution. In addition to leading Creative Africa Lab, Romeo also holds the position of Africa coordinator for Brazil-Africa Audiovisual Encounters and serves as the managing director of Hi Kigali production.
