Member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences – Oscars®. He was nominated for the Student Academy Awards and awarded the Silver Goddesses for Best Mexican Short Film, granted by Mexican film critics. He earned a master’s degree in Film from Columbia University in New York, specializing in Directing and Screenwriting. His work has been showcased at prestigious international festivals such as the Critics’ Week and the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival. He has served as an advisor at Independent Film Week (New York), Tribeca Film Festival, BAM (Colombia), Ventana Sur (Argentina), Sanfic (Chile), Nuevas Miradas (Cuba), and the Central American Audiovisual Market (Costa Rica). He is co-founder and Executive Director of Cine Qua Non Lab, an organization recognized for its support of independent filmmakers through script residencies in Mexico, promoting diversity and the creation of new cinematic voices globally.
